At Apply Yourself, we pride ourselves in providing holistic 1:1 and group sessions informed by our non-competitive teaching philosophy and methodology.

I, myself, have witnessed the effects that the “competition” or “scarcity” mindset has on not only students, but also institutions and their daily functions. I experienced this as both a student and as a professor (and as a student in law school, while I was a professor in the next building).

In my experience, focusing on “the competition” and “the stats” is detrimental to our health and well-being in the short- and long-term. We know that the numbers exist, but focusing on them and ruminating over them isn’t what helps us to create and build lives beyond our wildest dreams. Focusing on our own personal and professional growth, the significance of our experiences to our growth, our skills development, and our opportunities with a growth and abundance mindset, and preparation, gets us there – but this mindset and these skills are not intuitive.

We teach our Community how to grow and advance personally and professionally using sustainable, health-focused, actionable skills and strategies that truly help our clients create and build lives beyond their wildest dreams.

And we're just getting started.

Learning new skills takes purpose-driven guidance based on your specific goals and our professional experience and proven success, followed by implementation and practice. We believe that your work product is a reflection and representation of you, your values, and your goals. We take seriously your reputation both on paper and in your prospective program or career.

No piece of writing or application materials are ‘cookie-cutter.’ We help you showcase your skills and experience, regardless of your background, framed and guided by the requirements of the academic institution, organization, or company to which you are applying.
