In today’s episode, I describe my personal journey, which took many twists and turns to get me to where I am today. I open up to you about my university and graduate school experiences, from switching programs in undergrad, to completing my Masters and PhD, to earning my JD at Osgoode Hall Law School, and beyond.
The opportunities that I pursued ultimately aligned with my values, goals, intellectual curiosity, and research interests. The path to success is not a straight line!
The twists and turns that life threw at me during my journey gave me the critical on-the-ground experience to launch Apply Yourself: The Advancement Spot, and to help other academic and professional applicants achieve their dreams. I have served on many admissions committees and have seen first-hand that students need personalized, hands-on support and coaching for grad school applications, career transitions and promotions, and other advancement opportunities.
