Hiya! I’m Cindy Miao and I am an LSAT coach here at Apply Yourself.

When started my undergraduate degree at McMaster University as a mathematics and statistics
major, but fell in love with philosophy and law in my upper years. Now I am a student at the
University of Toronto Faculty of Law, going into my second year. I have taken the LSAT twice,
with a score of 167 and 174 respectively. I have tutored the LSAT for post-secondary level
students during my undergraduate days, and students of various ages in math, English, and graphic design software since I was in high school.

When I scored the higher of my two LSAT scores, I was taking a full undergraduate course load
and working a part-time job. I understand the business and stress that comes with simply living everyday life, but that doesn’t have to be a hindrance to your LSAT journey. I learned how to develop my LSAT skills beyond reading and writing in the books, and I believe you can learn that too.

My goal is not just to teach you, it’s also getting to know you! How do you think? What do you
enjoy? What are your flaws? Those are all elements I will take into account when developing a
study plan that is uniquely for you. So come out and have a chat with me if you would like me to
help you ace the LSAT!

In my free time, I enjoy video editing, doing visual arts, and graphic design, I often provide an “encouragement drawing” to my students before major events as well.
